Bookends Publishing Services was established in April 2004 to provide high-quality outsourced editorial, proofreading, and typesetting services and reader’s reports. Although most work is undertaken for traditional book publishers, Bookends also provides help and advice to literary agents, businesses and budding authors.
Claire Rourke has fifteen years’ experience as an editor and has worked for many prominent publishing houses on a wide range of publications – from fiction and non-fiction books to technical documentation and financial reports. These publishers include Penguin Ireland, Longman, Oxford University Press, Hodder Headline Ireland, Gill & Macmillan, Mercier Press, TownHouse Publishers and Lafferty Publications.
Bookends offers a full range of services covering the entire publishing process, from reader’s reports through to structural editing and author liaison, copy-editing (on screen and hard copy), typesetting, proofreading and preparing files for print.
